Polbox
The Polbox is a ready-to-use solution for the long-term continuous state of polarization (SOP) acquisition in compact 1U rack-mountable chassis. Optical input signal could be part of existing traffic, e.g., an optical service channel. Therefore, it doesn’t require any additional laser source or dedicated DWDM channels. Recorded SOP data are stored locally in HDF5 format with metadata and could be synchronized to remote storage.
