Product description

Within the ROADM node, the Add/Drop modules serves as a gateway for muxing and demuxing DWDM data channels into a long-haul system. CzechLight offers multiple options for variable ROADM architecture. All supported modules offer Flexgrid, Colorless, and Directionless properties. The WSS-based modules implement the Contentionless feature when redundant setup is used.
The device supports SDN control via RESTCONF, NETCONF and YANG, as well as a local CLI. As a fully integrated CzechLight product, all metrics are available live over model-driven telemetry feed. It has the standard 1U form factor, with redundant fan tray and hot-swap power supplies with AC/DC input options.

Areas of Use

Product Type Use
Add/Drop ROADM Modules Terminate connections locally. The Add/Drop box connects to each Line Degree module by an "express" patch cord.

Products

Mark Use
CL-R-AD-FLEX Adding and terminating up to twenty channels locally. This model provides full control over spectrum, and is therefore suitable for most demanding scenarios with Alien Wavelenghts (AW).
CL-R-AD-HIRES Adding and terminating up to twenty channels locally. This model provides full control over spectrum, and is therefore suitable for most demanding scenarios with Alien Wavelenghts (AW).
CL-R-AD-COHERENT Local add/drop optimized for coherent channels. Eight channels per one chassis.
CL-R-AD-PASSIVE Adding and terminating channels locally. Optimized fully passive solution for up to eight connections on two-degree nodes.
